Introducing Two types of Classical Pedagogy: Mimetic and Socratic

As classical educators we often talk about the goals and aims of education because we can’t know what we ought to do until we know what we are trying to accomplish. However, after all of our terms have been defined and our ends clearly stated, what does a classical education actually look like in practice? This session will introduce two main branches of classical pedagogy - mimetic pedagogy and Socratic pedagogy - and will explore ways in which they can be practically implemented in every classroom at any level.
